One of my favorite lunch places - specials are great and a great value. Space is perfect - enough room between tables to not be part of every conversation going on it the building. Staff are super friendly and very attentive! Top notch, fun place to eat and spend some time!!

Truth be told, we only come where while waiting for a table at the Toasted Frog, but this place is actually pretty nice early in the evening. It gets a little packed as the night wears on, but it still isn't a bad place.

Too crowded. Overpriced greasy food, that takes way too long to get out. Don't even bother going on the weekends, absolutely packed with underage UND students. Also with the issues with bouncers throwing people through windows is a great reason to stay away.

Great burgers, and good waitresses, real slow before 10 oclock anything after midnight they should change there name to joe blackouts college crowd at that time whole lot of fun, great end of the night bar.

Smells weird and the crowd is terrible

Joe Blacks is the end of the night bar, or more so, last stop, for most bar hoppers during the weekend. During that time, it's always over packed with drunks everywhere. During the weeks or early evening, it's a qualiry place and atmosphere. The menu is decent, and they make good burgers. During the summer months they set out tables outside too. The bartenders are very professional.

Experiences here are hit or miss, go on a local college hockey game night expect having a wait to get any service as there are just too many people. Go during the day for lunch, and it's the complete opposite.

Joes is my go to bar. From eating a bomb ass lunch to getting turnt everyday of the week. Good music, awesome bartenders, friendly servers, Joes is by far the best bar in town.

Great place for all you college needs, they have a pool table, darts, also amazing food selections and cards games your pick of tunes and arcade games to keep you satisfied, check them out I enjoyed myself, don't just take my word for give them a try.

Service was great, food was good (loved the curly fries) and the atmosphere was lively before the UND Hockey game. You can also pay $5 for a bus ride to the arena...then use the ticket to get a free drink upon your return after the game.

It's known for being a college meat market. Not my scene at all. However, it's a great place to watch football on Sundays. Great food and a friendly crowd.

I was there last weekend as a stop on a party bus round to many different bars. I must say this was the busiest bar we went to, but that's not always a good thing. People were shoulder to shoulder, entrance was heavily restricted because there were too many people standing around. The music was distorted as they tried to increase the volume beyond the speaker capability. Difficult to reach a bar to get a drink. Not a bar I would choose to frequent...However if you are going to a bar for the atmosphere of suffocation, low quality music and inability to drink your drink while being rudely pushed around by patrons attempting to navigate the floor, its all for you.

Love the awesome food and drinks and of course the amazing service there always.

Stopped for lunch....was laid back and quiet. Staff was great. Have heard it's a great place to party at night too.

I ordered the Firehouse Burger because I love spicy food. The burger patty was cooked to perfection. The jalapeños gave it a nice kick. The wait staff was friendly, we didn’t wait long for the food, and the TVs were clearly visible from our table. I highly suggest this place.
